A Letter to My 15 Year Old Self

A Letter to My 15 Year Old Self

Dearest Jo-Anne,

Ten years from now might feel so far but, know you will get there. You are young, fragile, naΓ―ve. All of these things won't matter because life has a way of building you so that you become fierce, resilient, and willing to face all that life throws at you. You just came out of the mental health ward the summer that just passed and I know you feel feeble and small. I promise you - this is the beginning of the greatness that is upon you. I know you want to make others happy, but you will come to understand that if you are not happy first - everyone else's happiness won't matter. I know that life is so confusing for you right now - I want to assure you that it will all sort itself out. Keep pushing! You are made for this.

With Love,

Your future self.
